Junior Guard (Grades 5 to 8)

The Junior Color Guard is designed for middle school students in grades 5 through 8 who want to try something new and exciting. This program introduces students to the foundations of color guard including dance, flag, and movement basics, while giving them a chance to perform as part of a supportive team. Junior Guard members will learn teamwork, responsibility, and performance skills. No prior experience is required, only an interest in learning and growing. Families can expect a fun, structured, and encouraging environment that helps young performers gain confidence both on and off the floor.

BHS Color Guard (Grades 9 through 12)

The BHS Color Guard is our program for BHS high school. This group focuses on advanced equipment and movement training, choreography, and ensemble skills that are performed at football games and events with the Belleville High School Marching Band. Members of the Color Guard build performance qualities and technical skills that directly enhance their success in guard and beyond. While some experience helps, it is not required. We welcome motivated performers who are coachable, dedicated, and willing to learn.
